How hard is it to make an epoxy table top? Making my own end tables.

Want beach themed end tables for the living room. I am using bird baths and I am filling them with sand and sea shells. I'm pouring epoxy over that to have the clear table top. How hard will that be?

  • Not hard, just make sure you've got a torch to pop the bubbles!

Also recertain to measure accurately part A and part B if you are not using the entire bottles. Mix according to directions. If it says 5 minutes, it actually means 5 minutes. I would pour several thinner layers instead of a thicker one. Let each layer dry (cure) for the recommend time. I would do this outdoors as I find the scent a bit overwhelming indoors. If it is humid outside it will take longer to cure. Also if it is colder outside where you are wait until the temperature are 65+. At least this has worked for me.
