How do I make DIY furniture sliders to move heavy furniture?
HOW DO I MAKE FURNITURE SLIDERS TO MOVE HEAVY FURNITURE.Best furniture sliders!Move furniture easily with Round furniture moving kit that Amazon reviewers swear by!
I started with a recycled bottom cabinet from a doctors office then added oak plywood with enough overhang for seating. I finished the top with plenty of fine sanding an 3 coats of polyurethane. I steel wooled in between coats. Then I added power outlets on both ends. I was done in a day. Living in az helped the drying process. Lol
Just use some base cabinets and use a top that is at least 12" Wider in one side for seating.
Make sure that you put drawers in your base cabinets first!!! It will be a,lot easuer to get things in and out of the cabinets.
Unused chest of drawers can be used by putting a larger table top on them and legs to support the overhang. Drawers can be left or removed depending on where the top lines up on the dresser.
