    Laminated kitchen counter tops are available at Home Depot or Lowes. You buy them, bring them home, and install them on your cabinets with screws from inside of the cabinets. Chances are the counter tops will cost less than a paint kit for counters and will certainly last longer.

    Did you ever think about just applying broken floor tile like turning it into like a mosaic it is absolutely gorgeous when it's done and easy to do just put him down don't worry about filling in the spaces until all done then worry about putting tiny pieces around it it's heatproof and everything

    Many options for budget friendly countertops. Lowes and Home depot have butcher block countertops at very good prices. Cement countertops can be diy. Edge forms and special cements for home use. Videos on youtube with how to‘s. Countertops from lumber is a budget friendly choice if you have the woodworking skill and tools. A link attached to get you started. Some builder supply stores have granite counter sections with edge detail already attached. Cutting to fit and sink holes would need to be added. Good luck.
