Beautiful Kitchen Island From Curbside Stand!
If you want to use standard base cabinets, they are 24 inches deep and you'll need another 12 inches for the counter to overhang so you can sit at it. And don't forget, stools take up a little bit of room even pushed in. A couple pictures and some dimensions might help us to help you more. Keep in mind that you should have at least one entry into the kitchen that is 36 inches or more. Also, you have to make sure that you have at least enough room to open all doors fully, including appliances (refrigerator, oven and dishwasher). Good luck with your project.
Have you looked at Ana Whites website? She has some fabulous designs. Attaching a link here, if this is not exactly what you want have a look around other options on website there’s usually multiple different styles.
