Hee is how I store all my craft stuff, the cubes are 3 feet x 3 feet x 1 foot deep
If it is a portable machine, buy the largest plastic bin with a lid that you can and put it in there. Not only is this a good storage solution, but you can use this bin as a side table in your bedroom.
Make or lift your bedframe up higher than normal to use the extra area underneath for storage bins. I have stored my emergency supplies and extra bedding like this for years. They sell "lifters" for use in dorm rooms on line but I build my own frame so I just made taller legs. https://www.walmart.com/ip/CreativeWare-Adjustable-Bed-Riser-System/
my fabrics are sorted to size and folded on shelving with curtains to cover the fabrics. house 2 there was enough hanging space in the closet to hang
them from padded hangers.
Get some bins with rollers that go under the bed and slide them right under there. If you have a machine you could get a small table and make a floor length cloth to go over it and hide your machine there.

If you have room for a dresser, you can neatly fold the fabrics to a certain size and they will be hidden away
Use the vertical space in the room.
Replace the bed with a trundle style that has built in drawers (one or two levels) on the bottom. Access to these lower drawers is much easier than reaching up to high shelves, and keeps your fabric and other supplies dust free, and out of the light.
