If you can drill through the shafts, you can screw them into the table top edge. You’ll need a punch, a drill press and cutting oil.

I like Lifestyles Idea. Instead of screwing them to sides of table; drill through table at an angle and put a pin/bolt through the hole(in club) to support the table.(Use heavy washer between the pin and table for better support.) I'm 'seeing' woods as legs, placed at a slight angle like you were holding the club. Check hardware for some fancy toppers, to put on top of the clubs where they come through the table.
