Cute little hanging planters or birdfeeders made from inexpensive cedar fence planks.
Three cuts at 5-1/4" (perfectly square), for two sides and the bottom.
Two cuts at 6-1/4", for the other two sides.
A pilot hole helps the hooks go in more easily.
I used simple hemp twine to hang my boxes, any rope will do!
Eye bolts would work just as well!
Drainage holes (these were the first of two - I went through them again with a larger bit).
Easy, simple, but beautiful! A nice home-made touch to your porch.
