So we all know that there are a million and one ways to decorate a pot but I wanted to show you my take on them and what you can put inside.
Gather your materials: pots, paint, paint brushes, aquarium rocks, a candle, plants, sand and potting soil if needed.
Paint your pots however your heart pleases. I went with a simple white since that matches my backyard and home office!
Option # 2!
Option # 3 but....
I looked up some Pinterest inspiration and added some faces to give them personality!
Potted some plants in them and now they look like they have hair which I love EVEN more.
For another option, I added sand, pressed my candle in the middle and surrounded it with aquarium rocks. You can definitely add a plant to go around it to add some color or pick up different colored rocks, sand, pebbles, glass, etc.
I have planted around the candle before and they didn't live that long but I think it's because I don't have a green thumb.
How dang cute!? I know the plants are seasonal at my local Dollar Store so try to run and get them fast! You don’t need expensive paint - grab some Michael’s $1 paint and voila! All I had to pay for was the cost of the pots and plants since I owned everything else.
I posted three other Dollar Store room decor ideas up on my YouTube channel. Be sure to check it out and comment down below to chat about what you would do differently, color ideas, plant idea, etc. The more we share - the more creative all of us can get because I know there are a ton of things I haven't thought of that you can make with these.
