Garden Pots From Drab to Fab!

We all have them from one place or another. I inherited a boat-load of them when cleaning out a house last spring. Terracotta pots. They're so useful for any number of things, but they can be so booooooring.
My own terracotta army. This is just a few of the many soldiers in my army. I needed to do something to make them exciting, to add some oompf, some pizzaz! So what else would I grab? Some handy Efex Appliqués and paint!
Here is all you'll need to transform those drab pots. I'm a bright color person, but you can paint in whatever colors and styles you choose! Just make sure if you're putting your pot outside you use a product that is exterior-friendly. I painted each piece before gluing, but you could easily glue and then paint. Whatever floats your boat! Here we chose our CC11 shell, but there are over 150 shapes and styles for you to choose from.
Apply a generous amount of contact cement to the back of the appliqué and where you plan to apply it. I like to trace around the piece so I know where the glue should go. Once they're dry to the touch press the two together firmly and you're good to go!
