How can I paint a metal pot for use as a planter?
I've got a pot (the dark colored metal cookware with light colored specks; galvanized I think it's called) that I'm going to plant succulents in. Any ideas other than plain old spray paint?

Hi Barb, I would use a metal spray paint and really rough up the pot before painting it. That should work great!
I would use chalk paint. It will have a nice matt finish which looks great with succulents.
Paint stripes or polka dots.

Galvanized is a grey matte finish.
The speckled is enamelware
Use enamel paint on enamelware.
Sand it with coarse sanding paper and then smooth with fine paper...paint
