If you are putting anything outside ; Old garden rule"don't plant til after Mother's Day. STRAWBERRIES https://longislandweekly.com/strawberry-success/ BLACKBERRIES & RASPBERRIES from people in Long Island ; I've had success with Caroline raspberries and Arapaho Thornless Blackberries.I've grown Caroline's in several different conditions over past 5 yrs, and have enjoyed delicious fruit from very productive plants since hey establish quickly here. the flavor of Caroline is excellent and they store well, nothing like supermarket berries which seem to weep or mold in a day or so.The first year I potted in April and got fruit in late June. The second year I put some in the ground. They spread rapidly, got to be 10ft wide and 5ft deep that spring. Shaded by my house on one side and a half wall on the other made it difficult to harvest but I was getting quarts a day. It got too big so I began moving and "re-homing" part of them. When potted whether in full or partial sun, container size hasn't mattered, from 5gal nursery pot to large cut open barrels, they bear fruit. Right now one planter is against a chainlink fence that I use for support, but they are blocked by the neighbors garage against the fence until about noon. They've been in that spot for 2yrs and I pick at least a cup a day from a 2x2ft bed.

In our hot, humid summers some times they need protection anyway. The leaves can get scorched and the fruit can get white burn sections, so you have consider that.

All types of plantings overwinter and grow just fine in ground , giving 2 waves of crops a year - from end of May to mid-August, then again mid-Sept to frost/snow usually sometime around first week of Dec.

BLUEBERRIES Can You Grow Blueberries in a Container? Use a large container with drainage holes. Use a potting mix designed for acid-loving plants such as azaleas or rhododendrons, or mix sandy soil with peat moss and compost. Plant the bush in the container and water well. Add mulch on top of the soil. https://www.thespruce.com/growing-blueberries-in-containers-848170 Any of these in containers wiil not survive the winters in Long Island they need brought in or put in ground

Make sure your pots will be big enough for the mature plant to grow and spread roots to have a great prolific plant. If you already purchased them, you will need a grow light to mimic the sunlight they will get outside if it is still cold out. Most all fruits and veggies like lots of sun throughout the day. My leaf lettuce doesn't like full sun all day as the season progressively gets hotter, if I keep it out of the afternoon sunlight and give it morning and evening sun it doesn't bolt until fall so we can enjoy fresh lettuce all summer.
