Vintage Toddler Potty Blooms Into a Flower Potty

What's not to love about an old, sad toddler potty covered in 60-year old pee right? Wait until you see what it bloomed into!
Last summer, Hubby and I took a long weekend get-away over the 4th of July and drove down to North Carolina to see the Rolling Stones in concert ( We then took the long and windy and scenic route back home through all of the small towns between Raleigh and Alexandria, stopping at as many antique stores, flea markets, and yard sales as we could.

This is what I picked up... the backstory is pretty funny!
So excited and honored to have this project be a part of Hometalk's !!!
Some bright yellow paint that Stepson picked out, a little help from some stencils... and it's now completely made over!
Don't mind me... just tagging a few things...

You can" bet your sweet bippy" that the next time I see a potty chair'", I will snatch it up and it will sit proudly on my front porch.

I need to apologize to you --I was much too quick to write the way I did. Please accept my sincere apology. These "Golden Years" are not much fun--and acting before thinking things through seems to be more of a problem every day. Again, I am sorry and I hope you will be able to forgive me. Sincerely, Barbara PS I do not know where Spring Valley is located.

Several months ago I saw one of these on Pinterest and emailed the lady and told her that as soon as I saw a potty chair at one of my many "junk stores" I was going to snatch it up and sure enough soon after I found one of the cutest chairs and it now sits proudly on my front porch. I was pleasently surprised at how many compliments I received and several gals swore that they were going to do the same things... If you are the woman above , many of us want to say thank you..
