When I Don't Plant in Junk, I Choose Terra Cotta Pots

You know I love to plant annuals in junk planters. But when I don't choose junk, I choose terra cotta pots. See my blog for more photos!
I always anchor terra cotta pots on my border step ladder with large nails or spikes through the rungs.
And on other garden ladders too.
I bring some of my houseplants outside on the patio.
Framed terra cotta pots with succulents are fun!
I love framing a garden with terra cotta pots. Here they are right side up with impatiens and hen and chicks.
And here upside down as a border.
