Can I use cedar wood as a door for my outside storage shed?

It's in the breezeway- thought of cedar, to help keep bugs away- where is the best place to purchase hardware for barn-door type hanger? Thank you...😎

You can probably find the hardware at home improvement stores like Home Depot, or even Fleet Farm. -

You certainly can use cedar for an outside door, remember that it will weather, so if you want to preserve it you will need to seal it with a polymer. You should be able to purchase "barn door" hardware at any farm and ranch supplier. -

no. We put cedar on a whole house in Texas City and did not "seal" it in 1970. (1900 sq. ft.) It turned a very pretty, natural grey and is still on the house. -

You can seal only the outside to protect it from the weather, then the inside will still have the cedar smell.
