Does anyone have a great idea for a stand alone trellis?

I have a larger climbing woody vine that flowers and need a trellis that will stand alone. I can put it in the ground but not against a building. help!

Build one with galvanized plumbing pipes and fittings.

I have a wonderful trellis made out of old corner pieces of metal gazebo supports. Paint with a good quality outside paint first. sink them into the ground - you can tie a few piecs together - we used copper wire and angle them for better support and looks nice too. Ours have lasted over 10 years and they were free because the gazebo was being thrown out!

You just need a big teepee shaped form.

what about using 2 or even 3 trellises leaning against each other. would be wind resistent and vine could climb up all sides.

Or maybe try using some lattice and add some legs on both sides like a room divider ?
