Oh my, I so feel for you! Until you make a long term decision, take her out as early as you possibly can in the morning, or after the sun goes down but is still light outside. Would screening in the current structure work?
Shirley, can you get a picture for us? That would give us an idea on what kind of structure would work. Or maybe just give us a lot more details. What ever structure you decide on , I think a Misting system might help. That would certainly cool things down and would be a minimal expense. I think they can be a diy project.
