Grandchildren' idea of their play area, we want our yard peaceful and calm
How Do I Build A Short Deck Patio On My Slopping Backyard?
We have a back yard that slopes which the bottom 1/3 is fenced off for our produce garden. In the other 1/3rd there is a temporary 12' tampoline for the grandchildren who live with us and will be moving within the year. Finally, off of the patio is the last 1/3rd is the yard that we want to build a step up patio where we can just go and sit leisurely and enjoy our greenspace behind our house.
We also would like to put in a babbling brook water feature and a fire pit. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Mary you can build a deck on sloping ground by making the base level. Don't forget some form of shade or roof. Here are some step by step instructions for the deck.

I think you mean SLOPING, NOT SLOP PING. Slopping is what you do when you are feeding hogs. Just sayin...FYI.
