One super fast and almost free fence. MANY businesses have pallets they will give away for free. Score some really clean ones as many of them are made from hardwood due to the amount of weight they have to hold. Buy some 10' reinforcing bars from Home Depot. They are pretty cheap. Cut them in half with a cut off saw since it is cheaper to buy the longer length. If you don't have a friend with a truck to get them home I have seen people literally cutting them in half with a battery powered saw in the parking lot to fit inside the vehicle. Stand the pallet on end (board horizontal) and place a rebar in the front left and one in the back right. Pound them in enough to hold up straight. Remove the pallet (lift straight up) and continue to pound in the rebar at least a foot with a sledge hammer. Put that pallet back on the two rebar. You now have a fence panel up in a couple of minutes. Put the next one beside it. You will have a privacy fence for the cost of a couple of rebar. Stain or paint if you like, put planters on top. So fast, so easy, so cheap.
