How do I pave an area for a fire pit in my backyard ?
I want to put brick down in my yard for my fire pit. I don't know where to start. Do I need to dig up an area? Do I need to place tarp or something under the bricks? I just want an area to place chairs and a fire pit for the fall.

If you are planning on doing an area large enough for chairs to sit on, it would be helpful to lay down landscaping cloth to keep the weeds out. That probably won't be necessary if you are only using brick for the fire pit area. Dig out the area, put down paver sand, level it by dragging a 2Ć4 across the area, put down your bricks. Good luck!
Google "How to lay a paver patio for a fire pit". This will walk you through easier than I could explain. Hope it helps!
I hate to just send you a link for this info, but sometimes they have videos that are very instructive and easier to understand than me trying to tell you.
