Our cement patio is uneven and cracked. Would like to do a wood deck over it. Any ideas?

Sue, we built ours right on the slab and adjusted the legs according to the slab as one side was lower than the other. Here is a tutorial on building a wood deck. I hope this helps. Be sure to check with codes or permits in your area before you start to be sure it is ok.

Just go right over it go larger so if cement cracks it won’t effect the deck
Hi there, no reason you can't just put a deck right over it using cement deck blocks. Here's an example video. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure all of your blocks are level and even on your old slab.
