Can you give us an idea of the area you want to shield? Is it a balcony or a patio overlooked by a 2 story building, for instance? Is there an existing but "open" fence around some or the entire area that you could run some inexpensive and tall bamboo or grass panels and tie or tack on to the existing fence?
Julie....I agree with the pallets but take a look at the door fences people are doing. Just Google it. Sometimes people are remodeling and getting rid of doors. Don't know that I would want a whole fence but if you had a small section where they could be used it might be okay. Good luck!
I just bought a house and want to block out neighbors, there is no existing fence there now. I was possibly thinking of some sort of shrubbery, but would want something fast growing. Not sure. I have an acre of land, and need to block on just one side.
Before you begin, call out your county surveyor to mark the property line for you. Last thing you need are legal battles. Make sure whatever you decide is on your property and not straddling the property line.
