How can I upgrade my cheap shed?

How can I sturdy up a cheap shed-in-a-box? With a new baby on the way and super tight living space my mom thought she'd "help" by ordering me a shed-in-a-box. It's like metal tubing with a fitted tarp. I was wondering if anyone had successfully converted one of these into a more permanent structure....we have a lot of sheet metal and lumber around here. The size of this one is 8x8...but anysize that has been beefed up I would love to see pics of!

Congratulations on the baby!!! So exciting!!You can build and secure a floor for it to give it more permanence- http://www.hometalk.com/diy/outdoor/sheds/how-to-build-a-shed-floor-3985687 Good luck!

I see bunk beds in your future........

yeah...we already built on to the bottom bunk to make the bottom twin bed a full for the twins (we tried seperate beds but they ended up in the same one by morning anyway...) my oldest is on the top bunk....I have another set waiting for the day the twins sleep seperate and the baby is old enough...I thought about putting it up with the top bunk and the baby bed underneath with a dresser, not sure if it would work or not. I don't really want either of the twins on the top yet(they're wild fives), so I would keep they're current full bottom bunk for them and use the top of the new set for storage maybe? Right now fitting just the baby bed seems daunting with three kids (i.e. 3x stuff) already in the room so I think the dressers going in the hallway (chic, I know).... but I have to store the bunk beds. Hence...I need this shed until those transitions can actually happen!

The plan was to build on by now...but....
