I think this drop cloth curtain idea will work for you! You can purchase drop cloths at Lowe's or Home Depot.

Drop cloth curtains would be the easiest but they blow around, and have to be weighted or tied down. I think lattice would also be fairly easy since you already have the poles. You can find them at Lowes and Home Depot,
If you're able to actually put something out in your yard like privacy lattice panels could be nice so that you don't feel you're blocked off from the outdoors. But if that's not possible, then you could maybe hang indoor outdoor curtains inside the top of the overhang perhaps on a cable.
The best thing to do is put up a five foot privacy fence.
You can put lattice and it will still allow for air to pass through. Zip ties and plastic lattice would work well and affix to the posts.
Curtains ! Add a few simple rods and hang curtains. You can tie back to your white poles when your not closing them

The plastic lattice panels would be a great way to go. They can be zip-tied to the existing posts of your canopy and then to each other to form a trellis wall.
