Build a box around it or use latis if it is safre
You can put wooden fence sections up around it, with a gate for the refueling truck, then plant flowers around it. This can be expensive though & requires some skill & tools. You could also paint the tank to look like a pink pig or a black & white cow. My favorite solution & the one requiring the least work, because I'm somewhat a sloth, is to plant morning glory seeds all the way around the tank & then let them grow over the tank. I stretched some chicken wire across the tank to give the tendrils something to cling to. You just have to keep the tank lid cleared for refueling. Another solution would be to put trellises around the tank & plant a flowering vine, like honeysuckle or clematis.
you same you live on a farm? Paint it to look like a pig, a watermelon or an ear of corn. The possibilities are endless!
I love the "cover it with vines" idea. How about a Star Jasmine or AKA Confederate Jasmine?
if you have a fence on your property, match the fence around the tanks
