    You did not finish your question so I don't know what you are trying to contain or if you are just putting a fence up for appearance. A fence should do the job that you intend. Otherwise you don't need a fence. Keeping the neighbor kids out or a pit bull in requires a very functional fence. Making your front yard look like a Norman Rockwell painting takes a whole different kind of fence. You already know the answer to the question you were going to ask because only you know the purpose.

    How tall do you want? Standard chainlink is 3 to 4 feet tall or taller.chicken wire fencing is easy to cut and comes in different heights. 2 ft tall to 6 ft. You can get edging that’s about a ft. Tall.

    They sell cute PVC fence panels that are arched on top. I envy them since our yard is not the type that those look good in.
