I want to try ma king a planter or a dog bed out of some old dresser drawers but I need some small 2 to 4 inch legs I'd prefer used as I'm going to paint them anyways. I live in Canada and alot of company's are in the United States and the shipping is around $25 which doesn't make sense. Please aNY ideas are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Can use BUN feet off an old piece of furniture or fence top posts. Fence post can also be cut into cubes as high as you need the bed to be. Hope this helps.

Have you checked at IKEA? They sell sets of furniture legs.

  • Second hand shops and any home improvement store and many craft stores will have what you are looking for.

I've had very good luck finding all sorts of legs at thrift shops and yard sales. Even the ends of curtain rods can often be used as legs. Please post pic of what you come up with!

Thank you so much for the feedback. I am very sure there is not an Ikea in Saskatoon. However I guarantee you that when I go visit my children in Edmonton and Vancouver I will load up. Again thank you for taking the time to reply.
