Stick nailer would work better for clapboards or any vertical nailing. It's lighter and less chance of fatigue. Much easier to control. Basic in construction.A coil nailer is better for horizontal nailing. The weight of the nailer will sink the nails with little force. Uses regular and specialty nails.
