DIY Peg Rail

A simple peg rail can be added any where into your home. I chose to add a peg rail under my open shelving in the kitchen to layer a space. This peg rail project was less than $20. I ordered a 34inch peg rail from Amazon for less than $11. This peg rail comes in a light wood color and I used Rustoleum Spray Paint in Blossom White to paint the peg rail. I used a 220 grit sand paper just to very lightly sand it to take the shine off. Once I wiped off the dust from standing I did two coats of paint on the front and sides of the peg rail. After it dried the last step was to attach it to the wall under my shelf and style it. Check out the video to see how it was installed.

Did Hometalk really put 5 or 6 fifteen second videos trying to show a project that someone did. I don’t know half of what she said. I think I would have with with another video Hometalk. It looks like a cute project so it could have been a good article.

    • Thank you for your feedback. These videos were pulled from my blog which puts them in segments. I hope to be able to answer any questions you may have about project.

How did you attach the peg rail to the wall? I like this and would like to do it!
