Easy Laundry Room Shelves

These are the easiest shelves you will ever make and so affordable!

I recently put up wallpaper in the laundry room but I needed a shelf to put all my laundry detergent. I purchased shelf brackets from amazon in an 8 pack for $30. Such a good price!

First, I used painters tape to visualize where I wanted the shelves. This is the easiest way to hang shelves that require more than one screw without making them crooked.

Next, I used a level to make sure that the tape was straight before I attached the brackets.

I used more painters tape to evenly space out my shelf brackets.

Finally, I used a drill to attach the shelf brackets to the wall where the painters tape marked. I used common pine boards measured to the width of the wall and placed them on the brackets. I used the screws that came with the brackets to attach the boards to the brackets.

These are so easy to style and you could even stain them different colors to match your own style preferences!

Suggested materials:

  • Common Pine Board   (Home Depot)
  • Shelf Brackets   (Amazon)
