What we did with a regular fireplace can be done with a corner fireplace. We covered the face around the fireplace with a split face mosaic tile. Then for one mantle we covered the top with travertine tile and used crown molding for the detail around it. Just remember to build the top out to where the crown molding will land. The other one we put a solid piece of travertine on top and edged it with travertine chair molding underneath.
