How to Insert a removable shelving unit/ cubby to a closet/ storage?
I have a deep over the stairs storage closet in a bedroom that I need to have a removable shelving unit/ cubby to keep clothing in. Occasionally we need to remove the unit/ cubby to access stuff being stored behind it.

Hi Robin, I'd either put casters on a bookshelf that you could put bins on or a wheeled clothes rack.
Could you just add wheels to a cubby so you could just roll it out when necessary?
I Robin,
build it to size, make a base and put on casters so you can roll it out. You can attach to the wall with a couple of old fashioned latches.

That is an issue! I might just use Rubbermaid ins that I could stack then just lift down when I need access. Everything would be neat and protected. Best wishes!
A photo would help. How about putting hinges on one side of the shelving unit and arraching it to the cubby framing so it swings out to access the area behind it. Without a phot I don't know if it would work for you.
Thanks! Hinges on one side to swing out the unit occasionally might just work!
