I am looking for project ideas for cardboard

I use crochet cotton that comes on heavy duty cardboard cores and I have tons of them. Any project ideas other than tossing them in a recycle bin?

You can decorate them with elements like buttons, beads, silk rose buds or flower petals, small stones, glass mosaic pieces etc as use them as decorative topiary. You can even cover them in different types of nuts and bolts or dried pasta and spray paint them a solid color. Customize them for friends and give as gifts.

If they are cone shaped like mine they make wonderful Christmas trees. I have also painted them to make the look like horns for my grandchildren to blow on and the best thing is they are silent.

My suggestion is to look on pinterest for repurposed cardboard cores and see if anything is of interest to you that you would use.
