Rustic, Open Shelving for Free! My "How-To".
This is my "how-to" tutorial on how I put rustic, open shelving for free in between my cupboards.
Here is the before. The cupboards were pretty basic and boring, and I really wanted to add some open shelving....just not an entire wall full. It's hard to tell, but the middle-right cupboard is actually larger than all the other, which drove me nuts, so out the two middle ones went and in went some rustic shelves.
Cutting the boards, pre-drilling and using long screws and washers were just some of what we tackled. Click through to the post on our blog to see more of what we did and how we prepped the dirty boards!
I'm totally in love with how they turned out! I still have some shelving, some cupboards and added a little rustic/modern!
