Christmas Tree Paper Ribbon

I used an unusual medium, paper as my Christmas tree ribbon this year. I added words too. See if you know what "antique" item I used. Click on the link to see the details. http://www.janis-allthingsbeautiful.com/2013/12/glittery-christmas-tree-paper-ribbon.html
The paper is thin, so the lights glow through it.
Yes, there are holes in this paper. Any guesses?

  • @Jan B. , you are a very good guesser!! It actually is a player piano roll. (I scrunched it and folded it in at the top and bottom so it wasn't so wide) This one that I used is of "Moonlight Sonata", so maybe not as many holes in places as some other tunes. Thank you so much for your kind words. I love the different fonts too! Merry Christmas!!

It is very pretty and I went to the link hoping that you showed how, you went about getting it to stay in the tree. Thank you for the idea.
