Cleaning Stove Top Grates
Hi J, Here's a link that may help: https://www.mykitchenescapades.com/how-to-clean-stove-grates-no-scrubbing/
Good luck!
I toss mine in the dishwasher
Fill a bathtub or a large tub with water, lemon juice and washing powder (the sort you wash your clothes in). Leave to soak over night or as long as possible. The just use a metal scourer the next day to clean over the grates. The dirst will fall off so quickly. If your using a bathtub just be aware you will have to clean your bath too.
I fill the bath tub with hot water, just enough to cover the grates. Then I put in a quarter cup of Oxyclean. Let them soak 10 minutes, wipe and rinse. Try Putting the filter to the range hood in there with it. Brush the filter with a scrub brush and rinse. Looks like new when done.
