How to Clean an Oven (Priceless!!)
I am a contract cleaner with my own business and 13 staff. I use tri nature cleaning products. Australian made, completely biodegradable and the work harder than any chemical anyone has tried to persuade me to use. The multi purpose cleaner 'supre' at full strength is a great oven cleaner, it will even remove oil from concrete. Warm oven to approx 110 degrees Celsius, then let cool for 5 minutes, spray all internal with a spray bottle of straight super. Leave to soak in for 15 minutes, then wipe out. A steel wool is your best friend for oven cleans (not the fine 'steelo' but the chunky steel wool, like a thousand little scrapers but no scratching) you will of course have removed oven racks and spray them separately and scrub, a nice deep tub is great for this. Have fun

This will sound weird but beats using lye-based products - optional safe oven/stove top cleaner is Cream of Tartar with water mixed to a slurry solution. Get the cheap stuff (
Use a product that I bought at dollar tree. It's a white bottle it's called" La's Totally Awesome Grill oven cleaner. Cleans and degreases. Works miracles on ovens and grills. Might take two trys but if it works it's worth it..after first time I used it, I ran back to dollar tree and bought 6 bottles..
