I have used commercial cleaner designed to clean glass stove tops, but still am unable to restore to like-new appearance. Thanks for your suggestions

I hear that one...Try white vinegar mixed with water 50.50 and a micro fiber cloth.

I use Soft Scrub along with the cleaning pad for the glass top on mine. I also use the single edge razor blade tool but only when I have the top all soaped up (to keep from scratching the top) While this is my least favorite stovetop, I've been using it almost three years and it still looks good.

How old is the stuff that's stuck ? I roll up an old towel to form a dam and spray w white vinegar, let it sit and soften and then sprinkle with baking soda. Wipe up excess and scrape with a single edge razor blade. It won't scratch. Wipe the blade off if it collects nasties and then wipe, rinse thoroughly with clean water and buff dry...like new.

I think it depends on the color of the top, mine is grey and very difficult to keep clean. It just looks spotted around two of the burners. Not sure what to do. But will give a couple of these a try.
