I use a paring knife or razor blade to gently scrape off the majority of the dried or burned on spill. Then I use SoftScrub.

Squirt it with household cleaner, let stand a minute, and then scrape it off with a razor blade. Then wipe. 5 minutes total.

Wash the top of the stove and maybe soak it a little, by laying a dampish towel on the top. Dry it and when dry get the cream used for cleaning glass stoves.....either at the hardware store or appliance store. You could use soft scrub but the cream, I found is better. While cream is wet, carefully use a razor blade to clean the burned gunk off....be careful you don't scratch it. Then wipe everything off. May have to use the cream again if it is really bad.

Hello Mary; I hope that you are doing much better now!!!

You need to be careful when cleaning your glass stove top, as it can easily scratch!!

Wipe down the top well with white vinegar. I would use extra vinegar so that it is really wet.

You then want to cover the vinegar well with Baking soda.

I would let the stove sit for at least an hour.

I would then scrub with a sponge.

If this does not get all of the gunk off, then Please use Bar Keepers Friend. This is always my last go to, when nothing else will work!!!

I hope that this helps you!! Stay Well!

I have a glass top stove also. When a pot boils ove I alway use a razor blade scraper to get the gunk off then wash the top with water next I use a product called Corning Cleaner and conditioner. Its made by Corning and to be used on Corning Ware Cookware Pyrex and smooth top ranges. Works like a miracle on smooth top and glass top stoves. I purchase mine at the grocery store. Hope this helps Good Luck

Hi everyone. I have glasstop stove. I use a razor blade to scoot off any build up. Then (this is amazing) pour half cup or so of left over coffee on the glasstop. Rub the coffee around, dry with soft towel. Voila! Sparkling stovetop. It works for polishing the knobs on stove, appliance fronts and counter tops too! http://www.sadieseasongoods.com/mosaic-stepping-stone-key-hider/
