go easy on the spray products, use a microfiber cloth and elbow grease.
I do not have any stainless steel appliances myself, but friends that do swear on the following methods for cleaning them (to remove and prevent streaks):
1) Apple cider vinegar, applied with a lint-free (microfiber) cloth and the wiped off with a clean cloth,
2) Cub Soda, sprayed directly on the appliance and wiped with a microfiber cloth,
3) Some dish soap brands (incl. Dawn), applied in small amounts with a slightly wet microfiber cloth and then wiped off with a clean (dry) cloth.
Wiping should always be done "with the grain" in order to achieve best results. Good luck!
Many people suggest vinegar. after cleaning the surface , apply straight vinegar to a paper towel and wipe. It should take care of the streaks.
Hi Connie, I use ammonia-free Windex. "Ammonia-free" is the important part. It works well on many surfaces. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The Best Way to Clean Stainless Steel Appliances
I use WD-40! Spray some on a paper towel and then clean the entire surface, then wipe down with another clean paper towel. As it's meant for metal it will also help to condition. A professional maid I hired once asked if she could steal this idea from me!
