Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.
If it's at the exterior base section, you may need to check for a water leak.
Internally, it should come out by running a cycle with vinegar placed in a heat proof container in upper rack.
Cleaning finger ,Just pour it in let set overnight wipe away black by hand,it sounds like mineral deposits you don’t want to let that run thru the lines. Cleaning vinegar can be found at Walmart.
