My dishwasher has a filter that I can take out and clean off. When my dishwasher starts to smell I know it's time to clean that filter. It is usually pretty disgusting!
I agree with Gk. Your filter probably needs cleaning. Other tasks include cleaning the gasket around the edges and wiping down the inside with baking soda and water. You can also put baking soda OR vinegar in a short glass or bowl turned right side up and run your dishwasher with just that. Both of them can eliminate odors. Wishing you the best.
Check your drain and make sure something is not stuck in it, it may just be that simple. If there is nothing there, then look further and go to the filter and look for anything there.
I would also run the d/w with plain white vinegar in a bowl, it is great for eliminating odors.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...
