Make a peroxide/baking soda paste. Apply and let it sit on the stove top while you do other things. Clean the paste mixture with a damp clean cloth. That should remove the stain.
I agree, the hydrogen peroxide/baking soda paste is a miracle worker, should bleach out the stain.
Did you try the cleaner that comes with the stove? That stuff is amazing at removing stains you can't even see!
