You can run vinegar through a Keurig just like cleaning a "regular" coffee maker. I run vinegar through twice, then run clean water through about 4 times just to really rinse it out
You need to get a lig cleaner to add to the water then run a whole full container then run a clean one take out inside we’re needle is both parts wash them then put back

Hi Mike, I clean mine every three months this way, pick up a bottle of descaler or you can use white vinegar, Pour 1 cup of vinegar ( or 1/3 of a bottle of the keurig descaler) into the empty reservoir, and add 4 cups of water ti the descaler/vinegar. Turn on your keurig, and once it is ready to brew, put a cup on the maker and start to brew a cup, ONLY LET THE CUP FILL HALFWAY, and TURN the keurig off, leave it to sit for 1/3 hour. Turn it back on after the 1/2 hour has passed and brew the rest of the stuff in the reservoir, the rinse the reservoir and fill with fresh water, brew the entire reservoir and smell the last brewed cup to ensure it is all rinsed, repeat the brewing until you think it is clean.
