Let i tsoak with vinegar water.
Try soaking vinegar water or straight vinegar in it.
Run a pot of water and a cup of vinegar through the percolator just as if you are making coffee. After the coffee pot cools down, pour out the liquid. Then scrub the pot with baking soda. Rinse thoroughly. If the stain is still there, you can repeat the steps, then do a bleach water soak. If it is STILL there, learn to live with it. You know you have sanitized the percolator. 😇
Run a cycle or two with vinegar, then again with water to rinse.
I Use baking soda on a damp sponge. If that doesn’t do it, use steel wool and dish soap.
Make sure to rinse well!
😊
Use baking soda as a scouring agent. Then just rinse and use.
I use denture tablets to clean my stainless steel coffee pot. Hot water and a couple of tablets and let it sit until water is room temperature. Rinse and repeat if needed. Pot looks brand new.
Thank you all sooooooooo very much!!!
