How can I clean off cooking grease from gas range grills?

what takes off old cooking grease off of gas range grills couple of days old? Brillo only works when the grease is new.

    I spray them with Simple Green and let them soak about 10 minutues. Then it wipes right off. If there is a lot, sometimes I spray a second time and wipe right away. I buy the dish rags that have the scratcher side on one side to make it easier too.

    Warm water and dawn soap takes everything away. That's what I use to clean my stove.

      I would wipe it off right away. Here is a little sneaky tip for you. Use Googone on a cotton circle and carefully wipe off. You will see the magic. I don't normally give this tip because Goo-gone could be hazardous around flames.

    GP66 or another food safe degreaser. Spray and let sit for a couple of minutes. Then you can wipe away.
