You should check with the manufacturer before trying to remove. Many of them have a solution that won't damage your finish. I put in a new oven 2 years ago and it states in bold, near the beginning of the manual, do not use aluminum foil in the bottom. It is also embossed in the bottom of the oven. I'm not sure what the issue is but it seems many people have had this happen to them.
Try a straight edge razor
Let the oven cool completely.
Carefully scrape off as much foil as possible with a razor blade.
Ventilate the area.
Spray the oven cleaner on the spots.
Leave the cleaner on the spots for about 20 minutes, then wipe the area clean.
Repeat the process as many times as necessary to remove the foil.
I would check with the manufacturer before I tried anything. They may have a method for you that will not damage the oven or void your warranty.
Angelo...once you get it clean you need to purchase the oven liner for the bottom of your oven...mine was a gift a number of years ago but l love it...l have seen them at Bed Bath & Beyond and in catelogs. Mine is several years old now and is still in great shape even after an oven fire...in my new one now! Good luck
I would check with the manufacturer. Self cleaning temps are crazy high and probably baked/ bonded the foil onto the metal in such a way that attempt to remove it may damage the oven surface.
Angelo were you able to get it cleaned off?

If all else fails, cover with a new Oven sheet.
This could be a slow process but use a razor blade to start pulling up the foil and just keep at it until it is gone.
