Try cleaning vinager, put it on a cloth and soak the cloth with it. Then put the cloth on the faucets. Let it sit a while.

I use vinegar gel.
Don't use vinegar if the countetop in granite or marble. It will etch the surface.
You can buy a product called "lime a way". It works.
