Hi! What I used to whiten up my sink, was filling it with hot water and Oxiclean. Leave until the water is cold, scrub out with a microfiber cloth or magic eraser and it was nice and white again!

You could spray it with hydrogen peroxide, let set about 15 minutes and then wipe down, rinse.Repeat if needed.

  • You can make use of Hydrogen Peroxide. In a spray bottle, just fill it with with 3-percent hydrogen peroxide. Allow the solution to sit for 10-15 minutes and then wipe the tub down with a damp sponge.

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide into a paste. You might look into wet & forget shower as well. I use it on mine and it works great. However, if you have scrubbed with an abrasive that has removed the sealant, it will never be bright white again.

    Step 1

Put on a pair of plastic cleaning gloves.

    Step 2

Spray a small amount of Easy-Off oven cleaner in the BLUE CAN on one spot, and wait 15 minutes to see if any discoloration occurs to the surface of your shower. If not, the product is safe to use to clean your shower.

    Step 3

Spray a thin layer of Easy-Off oven cleaner anywhere in your shower that you spot soap scum. Spray the doors as well as the walls and the shower floor.

    Step 4

Leave the room for half an hour while the Easy-Off oven cleaner does its magic.

    Step 5

Wipe away the soap scum with a sponge. Vigorous scrubbing is unnecessary. Rinse your sponge off periodically. Give your shower a final rinse with plain water.

    • Baking soda.
    • White Vinegar.
    • A sponge or cleaning brush.
    • Papers towels or washable cloth.

This will (hopefully) be the hardest you have to work. Take the rough side of your sponge and scrub your tub down. Try to cover every inch of your tub but really focus on the dirty/soiled parts. These parts will need a little extra elbow grease.

After you’ve scrubbed it down, let this lathery solution sit for about thirty minutes to an hour. You’re letting the mixture really break down any grime, stains, or mineral deposits.

Well it's best to find out what is causing the yellowing. Is it a mineral residue? Have you tried vinegar? Bleach? I like the idea of trying a magic eraser as well. Any cleaner that is slightly acidic will help get rid of a yellowing mineral layer.

As they get old the plastic does that and you can’t clean it out no matter what you do
