There is a residue around my bathroom faucet that seems to grow. Have not found anything to get rid of it.

What kind of countertop? What is it made off? If granite or marble do not use vinegar, CLR, or anything acidic.

Hi Connie. I'm Cindy. That build up you have is mineral deposits. It comes from your water. I will suggest Vinegar to remove it because that's a cheap fix. If vinegar doesn't work for you, a product called CLR will do it. The trick with CLR is to put it on your faucet and walk away. Come back in 15 or 20 minutes and it will rub right off. Best wishes.

Hi Connie, vinegar is good but can take a bit of scrubbing to get the mineral deposits off. I have found (thru some research) that citric acid works wonderfully. That's the stuff you use to keep fruit from turning brown so it is totally safe. It dissolves quickly & works fast. Hope this helps.
