How can I return a shine to my bathtub?
the inside of the tub is dull and also harder to keep clean, although I do. Think the material is acrylic.

Comet works well to
Hi. Careful with acrylic. Like plastic only slightly harder, it will scratch and dirt will build up in the scratches leaving it dull and still dirty. Fill the tub with water and add a cup of no-spill bleach. Let soak for at least an hour or two. Then let the water out. Using a medium stiff bristle brush (I use a straw broom) scrub the sides and bottom. The no-spill bleach has a bit of soap that will assist in the final cleaning. Rinse clean with cold water. Dry completely. Then use a good car wax to polish. If you use the wax on the floor of the tub, use a tub mat. Do not step into a tub that has been waxed top to bottom without a mat!
Be careful about applying wax to a bathtub base, to avoid falls.
